News video services, from the scene to your gallery
Five services covering shooting, studio recording, editing, live links and workflow advice, each built around the pace of a television news day and the formats broadcasters expect.

Five services for daily news output
-
Breaking News Crews
A camera operator with reporter-ready kit goes to the scene of a developing story. Footage is shot with broadcast framing in mind, so your editor receives usable pictures for same-day transmission.

Studio Interviews
Interviews and portrait-style pieces recorded in a lit, properly framed studio. Guests are set at ease, sound is kept clean, and the result drops straight into a news segment or a longer feature.
Contact → -
Rapid Edit and Delivery
Footage is cut to your running order, captioned where needed and exported in the file formats your broadcaster specifies. Delivery is arranged so material reaches your ingest without a second round of fixes.
Contact → -
Live Link Support
We set up the camera and signal path for a live report from location back to your gallery. A test is run before the slot, so the reporter can concentrate on the story rather than the kit.

Newsroom Workflow Consulting
Practical advice on how shoots are commissioned, how files are ingested and how approvals move through your team. The aim is fewer hold-ups between a recorded story and the moment it airs.

Breaking News Crews: how a deployment works
This service suits news desks that need pictures from a developing story without sending their own staff. A camera operator travels with broadcast kit, films to your brief and sends material back in time for your bulletin.
Contact
- The brief and the call
- You tell us the location, the angle and the deadline by phone. We confirm who is going, what kit they carry and when you can expect first material, so your desk can plan around it.
- Shooting on location
- The operator works handheld or on a tripod, covering wide establishing shots, close detail and cutaways. Low light is handled with on-camera lighting where the scene allows it.
- Reporter-ready kit
- Microphones, batteries and cards are carried so a reporter can step in front of the lens at once. If you send your own presenter, we frame and light the piece to suit them.
- Getting material back
- Files are transferred to you as soon as the operator has a usable connection, with clip notes naming what each shot shows. Longer rushes follow once the first pictures have gone to air.
Have the exact location, a contact on site and any access or permission details ready when you call, and tell us the format and deadline your gallery works to.
From first call to files on your server
Every job follows the same short path, whether it is a single interview or a day of coverage. Each step produces something you can check, so nothing is left to assumption when the story is moving quickly. You always know who is doing what and what comes next.
Enquiry through the contact page
You send the details of the story or session through the contact form, including the location, the format you need and when it must be ready. We read it and reply to you directly with questions or confirmation.
Written quotation
We set out in writing what the work includes, what it costs and what could change the price, such as travel distance or extra crew. You review it at your own pace and ask about anything unclear.
Confirmation and planning
Once you confirm, we assign the crew or studio, agree technical details such as file format and captions, and fix who contacts whom on the day. Changes can still be made at this point.
Shoot, edit or live support
The crew records, edits or sets up the link as agreed. Where the job allows, you see first material early and can redirect the coverage before it is too late to change.
Delivery and invoice
Finished files go to you in the specified format and we check they open and play on your side. An invoice follows, payable by bank transfer under our payment and refund terms.
Questions we are often asked
These answers cover what newsrooms ask before a first booking. If yours is not here, the contact page reaches us directly and we will reply in writing.
Can you work to the file format our broadcaster requires?
Yes. Tell us the codec, frame rate, resolution and any caption or audio requirements when you send the enquiry, and we set up the edit and export to match. If you are unsure of the specification, send us a sample file or ask your ingest team and we will work from that.
How quickly can a crew reach a story?
That depends on the location, the time of day and what is already booked. We do not promise a fixed arrival time in advance. Call us with the address and we will tell you honestly whether we can attend and roughly when, so you can decide whether to wait or look elsewhere.
Do you supply the reporter as well as the camera?
Our crews supply the camera operator and kit that a reporter can use straight away. Most clients send their own presenter or correspondent. If you need someone to be on camera, raise it in your enquiry and we will explain what we can arrange for that job.
What happens if the story changes while the crew is on site?
The operator stays in contact with your desk and can move to a new position or angle as the story develops. If the change means more time, extra crew or a different location, we tell you before it affects the price, and note it in the written confirmation.
Can studio interviews be recorded with remote guests?
Studio interviews are recorded in person with the guest in our lit and framed space. If a guest cannot travel, tell us what is possible and we will say plainly whether we can handle it. We do not claim a remote service beyond what we have set out.
Who owns the footage after delivery?
Ownership and usage rights are set out in the written quotation and confirmation for each job, so there is no ambiguity once the files have been delivered. If you need exclusive material or restrictions on reuse, say so at the enquiry stage and we will record it.
How do we pay for a job?
Nothing is paid on the website. After the written quotation and confirmation we send an invoice, which you settle by bank transfer. Cancellations and refunds follow our payment and refund policy, which you can read before you commit to any work.
Can you advise on our workflow without booking a shoot?
Yes. Newsroom Workflow Consulting is a service in its own right. We look at how shoots are requested, how files are ingested and how approvals pass through your team, then give practical suggestions in writing for you to act on.
Tell us what your next story needs
Send the location, format and deadline through the contact page. We will reply with questions or a written quotation for the crew, studio, edit, live link or workflow advice you need.
