Independently of that, every common browser offers settings for cookies and site data, where stored entries can be inspected or deleted.

We do not embed services from other providers that would set cookies of their own. If a map, a video or a comparable element were added later, its provider could place entries on your device as soon as it loads, and this policy would be updated before such content goes live.

This website uses no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no trackers that follow you to other sites, and nothing about your visit is sold or passed on for advertising. Where an entry can be linked to a person, our privacy policy explains the grounds, the storage periods and your rights.

Session entries disappear when the browser window is closed, while others are given a set lifetime so that a preference survives until you come back. The answer saved by the cookie notice does not expire and remains until you or your browser remove it.

Where a cookie notice is displayed, the only thing it saves is your answer, agreement or refusal, as one value in the local storage of the browser you are using (localStorage), after which it stays hidden. It appears again in a different browser or on a different device, and wherever storage is blocked.
